Blake Corum Setting the Tone for 2024

Recently, Corum took to Instagram to announce his decision to enter the NFL draft and gave us a sneak peek into his rigorous preparation for the tests that lie ahead. He posted two videos of his training sessions, showing off his sharp skills and versatility as a running back. In his Instagram stories, Corum looked sharp and focused. He was seen making a few impressive catches and participating in various drills. It's clear that while he might be primarily known as part of a team's offensive backfield, Corum isn't one to shy away from flaunting his catching skills. A second video clip showcased him grabbing a reception after some nifty footwork, a testament to his versatility. He captioned it: 


Returning to training just weeks after leading Michigan to the national championship, Corum is showing his ambition and dedication. His athletic prowess is sure to be tested at the NFL Combine, but if his preparation is anything to go by, he's ready to rise to the challenge.

Many NFL analysts and fans are predicting that Corum might be a late first-round pick in the upcoming draft, a testament to his skills and potential.

Corum had an unforgettable final season with Michigan in 2023. He racked up 1,245 rushing yards and 27 touchdowns on 258 carries during the regular season. In addition, he added 117 receiving yards and a touchdown on 16 receptions, helping the Wolverines clinch the Big Ten championship.

For his outstanding performances, Corum earned First-team All-American and First-team All-Big Ten honors. He didn't stop there, continuing his excellent form into the postseason.

In the College Football Playoff semifinal against No. 4 Alabama, Corum recorded 118 all-purpose yards and two total touchdowns, helping Michigan clinch a 27-20 victory in overtime.

During the national championship against No. 2 Washington, Corum showcased his talent by recording 132 rushing yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries. His efforts led the Wolverines to a 34-13 victory, securing the all-important national championship. He was named the offensive MVP in the postseason finale.

As we look ahead to the NFL draft, there's no doubt that Blake Corum is a name to watch. His hard work, ambition, and undeniable talent make him an exciting prospect for any NFL team.
